Manufacturing

Volute Machining

In developing the MOKAI ™ we wanted to insure the manufacturing process did not pose additional risks to our employees or the environment. All of the manufacturing is done in the United States, most of which at our manufacturing facility in Newburgh, NY.

The hulls are rotomolded polyethylene, a process that is friendly to both the worker and the environment. This process allows the hull to be lightweight and durable. In the event of a breach to the hull, though very unlikely, this material can be easily repaired by “welding” material into the breach simply with a soldering iron.

Full Truck of MOKAI boxesOur cast components are done at US Foundries. The raw castings are shipped to us for machining at our in-house CNC machining center. Our machining center, in conjunction with our in-house design team, produces over 100 unique parts for the MOKAI watercraft.  Only top grade materials of stainless steel, naval brass and aluminum are used in the construction of MOKAI.

Assembly LineA significant advantage to this vertical type of manufacturing is that as the MOKAI team evolves the product the improvements are immediately part of the manufacturing line, allowing us to ship the best product we can.

Proudly made in the USA!
